Root for Chris & Kasra at the WSOP on July 1, then Rejoin Us at the PPC on July 27

The World Series of Poker has officially begun, and the Pinnacle Poker Club’s Friends & Family Series is officially on break for the summer. If you are looking for your poker fix early, please root for Chris and Kasra as they make their way to the WSOP in about four weeks. They will be playing in the Tag-Team event (Event #75 of the WSOP) on July 1 (and hopefully July 2 and 3). It will be Kasra’s first trip to the WSOP and Chris’s fourth.

Whether you follow along with the WSOP or not, please come back to the Pinnacle Poker Club on July 27 for the Dance of Dragons All-Bounty Championship.

House of the Dragon Season 2 Prompts Changes to Events #4 and #5

As you may know, HBO recently announced that House of the Dragon Season 2 will be released on June 16. As fans of the series, House Whittaker has decided to rebrand and reschedule our all-bounty championship event. The Dance of Dragons All-Bounty Championship will now be Event #5 in our 2024 Friends & Family Tournament series, taking place July 27, after our summer hiatus.

As a result, the Summer Deepstack Championship will now be Event #4 and it will take place on May 18, before we break for the summer.

Save the date: First Shootout Event (and Roll ‘Em Up Taquitos!) Coming to PPC on April 6

We are one-third of the way through the 2024 season, with Lauren, Christina, and Crystal leading in the race for Player of the Year. Whether you are right up there with the league leaders, sitting at the bottom of the standings, or haven’t yet gotten into a game, you definitely want to join us for Event #3 on April 6. A win in the next event will likely be enough to vault anyone into the top spot in the standings.
