We are one-third of the way through the 2024 season, with Lauren, Christina, and Crystal leading in the race for Player of the Year. Whether you are right up there with the league leaders, sitting at the bottom of the standings, or haven’t yet gotten into a game, you definitely want to join us for Event #3 on April 6. A win in the next event will likely be enough to vault anyone into the top spot in the standings.

The Spring Showdown at the Pinnacle Poker Club (Shootout Championship) will be a shootout-style event in which play will continue until only a single player remains at each table. The winners of each table will then come together at the final table to battle for the first-place money and POY points.

Speaking of prize money, the entry fee for Event #3 will be doubled to $40, which should result in our largest prize pool to date. And with that increased entry fee come more POY points up for grabs; the top spot will likely pay about 15 points or more, depending on our turnout.

In honor of April Fool’s Day, we are also bringing back the popular 7-2 game that we played last year. Any player who wins a hand with 7-2 (the worst starting hand in Texas Hold ‘Em) will receive a $5 bonus payout.
