Eight knockouts, a 30-minute heads-up thriller, and a brand-new Player of the Year leader

With 24 total entries (from 19 players), we broke our previous record and created a $520 prize pool. But the real story was the more aggressive style of play. Many players embraced our suggestions to raise more preflop and to be more aware of their positional advantage (or disadvantage) in each hand. The result was a game of big swings and surprising results.

If you want proof that anything can happen at the Pinnacle Poker Club, look no further than the 2025 Deepstack Championship, which generated our largest prize pool in PPC history ($720) and resulted in yet another first-time winner: Peggy.

She entered the night near the bottom of the Player of the Year race, but walked away with all the chips, plus the POY lead. Here’s how it all went down.

Seventeen players packed the tables for the Pinnacle Poker Club’s first-ever Spring Survivor tournament — and what a night it turned out to be! With a $425 prize pool on the line and only four spots available for the lion’s share of the winnings, players had to navigate a minefield of big hands, bold bluffs, and unforgettable moments.

Fourteen players kicked off the 2025 PPC season, with six others sidelined by last-minute illness. As predicted in our season preview, three players carried over their momentum from last year, taking home the lion’s share of the $350 prize pool. But the spotlight belonged to Thuy, who stormed through the final table to claim her first PPC win!

The 2024 regular season has come to a dramatic finish, as Christina capped off an absolutely dominant season with another dazzling performance, racking up six more knockouts on her way to a third straight win. She finished the season leading the league in almost every category, including wins (3), knockouts (16), and points per game (18.6).

Eleven players descended on the Pinnacle Poker Club for the penultimate event of the 2024 regular season. With shorter starting stacks, five levels of unlimited re-entry, and 28 POY points up for grabs by collecting bounties, the stage was set for lots of action. 

Although the format was different, the result was the same: a big win for Christina who still leads in the 2024 POY race.
